Camping site - Hveragerði
The camping site in Hveragerði is located centrally in the town, only 2 minute walk to the swimming pool in Laugaskarð. The area offers good service facilities, WC and showers, washing machines and dries. Cooking facilities under a roof plus tables and chairs. Beautiful surroundings within walking distance to the city centre and the main attractions. And just across the street the schools playground offers hours of fun for the kids. The campsite is open all year.

Hot Springs Hotel is a SPA hotel,offering facilities and services in a broad range which in a wide range of room categories. In total 122 rooms and appartments. 57 single rooms, 12 double rooms, 48 twin rooms, 2 Deluxe Suites and 3 Deluxe Apartments.
Hotel Hot Springs offers SPA treatments such as massage and mud bath. The hotel has anin-house restaurant which follows the Slow Food movement and produce most of vegetables in own organic greenhouse.
The hotel is open during the high season, from the 20th of June until 20th of August.

Hotel Örk offers friendly accommodation and well- equipped facilities in beautiful surroundings. The hotel has 76 spacious and well-furnished twin rooms and 9 superior rooms. Each room has a private bathroom and is fitted with a mini-bar, telephone and television. The bathrooms are equipped with both a shower and a bathtub. The hotels has its own outdoor swimming pool that features a water slide, hot tubs and geothermal sauna.

Frost and Fire guesthouse in Hveragerði is located on the banks of the river Varmá in a beautiful setting amidst bubbling hot springs. The guesthouse is open all year for individuals and groups. There are 14 rooms in all, all double with en suite facilities, television and internet connections. Extra beds can be installed in nine of the rooms. All are fitted with elegant and comfortable furniture and decorated with modern Icelandic works of art.
Guests can also take an invigorating swim in the guesthouse 12-metre swimming pool, revitalise body and soul in the sauna, take a refreshing outdoor shower and then relax in jacuzzis on the banks of the river.

On the first floor of the Skyrgerðin is the lovely guesthouse with 13 carefully restored rooms. The rooms are done up in a warm and friendly manner and guests are treated to a wholesome and indigenous breakfast which is included in their stay.
The house was built for the local authorities in 1930. A skyr factory was built on the ground floor and apartments for the staff were on the first floor. Since 1947 a hotel and a restaurant business has been operated in the building. The house, or “Þinghúsið” as the locals like to call it, has been a cultural meeting point for decades.

Our house is located in Hveragerði, a small friendly town 45 km/28 miles from Reykjavík (35-40 min to drive) Iceland.
